Christmas Draw!!!

14 July 2010 | Dowry Creek. Belhaven, NC
Christmas Draw.
My life-long girlfriend Donna gets the prize for being observant and astute. In an E-mail she asked about the interesting sculpture in our Canada Day Pictures. After looking at my weaving pictures she informed me that I once again had pulled her name for the Christmas draw (very clever way of hinting at a scarf of her own). We are never sure if our Picasa pictures are looked at. So I've had Al attach a Picture of the bottle tree here at Dowry Creek made by John several years who is a cruising Canadian from Port Dover, Ontario. Apparently legend has it that the bottles are angled in such a way the bottles capture and trap bad spirits. Hope it's true since the H.... season is upon us.

FRIENDS IN LOW PLACES.

Al wedged (note! must lose a few inches!!) himself below into the engine room this morning for the engine "stuff", I was the tool wench. We replaced the engine oil cooler, associated oil hoses, water hose, & the fuel filters. Miss Bridget eager to help, nudged wrenches into the hollows too. It's overcast here today so engine tweaking is a good thing to work at.
