Fall Crop

15 November 2011 | Palm Coast Marina
Jennifer- overcast but warm
I planted a fall crop of lettuce today. I'm hopping the cool weather will sprout us a fine crop of fresh lettuce. I chose various varieties and mixed them all together and broadcast them in the planters which will hang on the aft deck. Here's hoping.

In other news Cathy arrived yesterday. We checked her flight on line and knew her flight would be a half hour late. When we arrived at MCO the arrival board had her arriving at 5:29 Three hours later than expected. Apparently the connecting plane in Washington had brake concerns. In the end the the passengers were put on a totally different plane. A plane has to have brakes......sheesh. She arrived tired from a long day, we fed her at Olive Garden and she reports she had a fabulous, comfortable first nights sleep aboard Close Knit.
