It is a pity you can't read this sign but it says Runway Clearance Crossing, You have to call up on the VHF and make sure no planes are landing ! I don't think our mast is tall enough...

Early Sunday morning eating breakfast we had a pod of dolphins swimming around in the bay, I was too interested in the camera and knocked my cup of tea all down the companion way whilst trying to get a good shot. We ended up jumping in the water and a dolphin jumped out of the water about 1 metre in front of me it was amazing !

It has been quite windy over the past few days, I tried to get a picture of the surf breaking on the reef, not with great success, but i cant wait to get back into that crystal clear sea !

So we finally made the splash and are back in the water. We are still waiting for the fridge man to come, fingers crossed it only needs re-gasing otherwise things could get expensive. We caught up with our old bosses on Yacht Sulana only a flying visit, Thanks for the vino i just need a fridge to cool it !
Everything else is coming together i am 4 down on the bags of washing and have another 4 to go.. Thanks for the email allan but for some reason I replied and it wont let me send emails on my iPad !
Going to stay in the marina over the weekend until James has re-wired in our new batteries, it is just a pain that town is so far away but everyone is so friendly on the island you just have to put your finger out at the gate and someone will always pick you up !

We really enjoyed our time in Rangiroa, It was only an overnight passage which is even better. We had such a beautiful sail, wind on the beam and cruising at 6knots with a beautiful moon out and the start shining as brightly as i have ever seen them. James went diving and he said it was the best dive he has ever done. He saw tuna bigger than him and also he dove with dolphins which he has never seen before amazing ! Unfortunately i can't equalize my ears so i can't go but the snorkelling was just as good.
We met a lovely american couple who were on there honeymoon so we hung out at there bungalow it was beautiful, glass in the floors and a private balcony to watch all the reef sharks and manta rays swimming by.
