We were picked up at 10am today by our lovely taxi driver Ezra who took us on a tour of Barbados, he charged us 30 US Dollars for the hour much cheaper than hiring a car between the 4 of us, This is a picture of the Atlantic Coast on the east side of the island which was so beautiful not many tourists at all which is what we like ! It so different to the main town Bridgetown which is full of tourists off the Cruise Liners but I am not complaining, It such a beautiful place ! There is only 1 safe anchorage on the island for all of you yachties, which is called Carlisle Bay they don't have any marina's on the island.

Unfortunately on the third day James did some kart wheeling down the mountain and hurt his knees so his ski-ing was finished for the week, he was a little bit upset but its better than risking breaking his legs ! We met some lovely people in the Chalet and the hosts were amazing 3 course dinners cooked every night it was lovely.

James and I have been off line for around 10 days, we decided to treat ourselves to a last minute holiday to Aspen Ski-ing. It was amazing, it nearly snowed everyday and one day it was -30 bloody cold !

We decided to stay in Marigot Bay for 2 nights. It's a very pretty little bay where we met Dr.Feelgood!! a local who James and Les met over christmas. He gave us a woven basket full of Mangos and bananas.

01/23/2011, Wallilabou Bay 19/01/11

Had a 2 hour sail from Bequia to Wallilabou Bay where they made the movie Parates of the Carribean. We saw the set which is now falling apart. The bay is not the nicest of bays. There were lots of mozzies and sandflies so we didn't get much sleep. We left early next morning for our longest sail to Marigot Bay on St.Lucia.
