Journey with the ColeHorse
Now We're in New Jersey
Howard and Diana/ cold here too
12/24/09, West Windsor, New Jersey

No storms! Flight was on time and we had a great trip to New Jersey. It was quite interesting. Ask yourself this question: Who wants to leave Florida in December and travel to NJ? Thus, we were able to get inexpensive tickets and we had room to spread out on the plane. It is wonderful to see Pierce and Jen and Foxy (the dog) and despite the cold weather we are glad to be here to spend Christmas with them. They have a beautiful new townhouse they just moved into and we are going to help them do a few projects. We had Christmas dinner with Jen's parents and her aunt and uncle and cousins and as usual ate too much!

Now We're in Key Largo
Howard and Diana/ cold here too
12/19/09, Marina Del Mar, Key Largo, FL

Oh! It's so much fun to travel in the winter. The big storm they had up north cancelled the flight out of NY that was suppose to come pick us up. After spending 4 hours in the Orlando airport we finally boarded and headed to Miami. We arrived home at 11:00 p.m. really tired. My knee MRI was cancelled until tomorrow so Howard and I just relaxed, went to the grocery store, got a leg of lamb to marinade for dinner. Yeah! We love the grill along the canal. Reflections (Al and Arlene's boat) also sits near the grill so we visited with them. The lamb was so good! Howard just gets better and better at grilling. Tomorrow we go to Tavenier to MRI my knee and pack for our trip to New Jersey. Wednesday my sister and brother-in-law comes! Whoopie!

Now We're in St. Louis
Howard and Diana/ cold very cold
12/12/09, St. Louis, MO

We put our bicycle rack into storage and got our cold weather clothes out, well, the First Mate did, Howard, the Norseman, doesn't need cold weather clothes. We flew out of Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando and then to St. Louis. We are here for our yearly checkups and visits with dear, old friends. The Captain is loving the cold weather, heat and humidity isn't his thing.
