Tripps on St Maarten

St. Maarten is filled with great things to do. For boaters, there are mega yachts everywhere inside Simpson Bay. The yachts line up at specific times to go in or out of the Bay and the smaller boats fit themselves in to enter or depart the port.
Visits to the St Maarten Yacht Club (Bar and Restaurant) can be a twice a day experience. You see all the beautiful Yachts coming and going. It is usually just crew...seldom is there a passenger on board. That's the part I don't get! There are also opportunities for Comocean to join the parade.
Joanne is generally on the wheel. We get out about 15 minutes before the bridge opens. There are usually about 10-12 boats all milling about and with 10 minutes to go, things get crowded. The big guys back out of their slips.
Here, you see Steve and Denise Tripp, enjoying the fore deck of Comocean as we depart for St Barths.
