Throw out the Anchor

With St Martin behind us, and the Tripps having spent their honeymoon some xx years ago on St Barth, it would be only natural to head further east and reunite them with this wonderful Island.
After about a three hour sail/motor we entered the harbor. Anchorages are on both sides of the channel. We spotted Cutter Loose, hoped to connect with them as they were obviously in port, anchored (NO, not the anchor pictured...but that brings up another story). We headed into the town, had a great lunch, made our way to shell beach at the end of town, and had drinks at Do Brazil. Do Brazil is a must. the beach is beautiful with a perfect cove and lots of sunbathers. The drinks, like everything on the island...think euros... were expensive. The restaurants are expensive. The clothing is very Cruise Ship oriented. Think YSL and Prada and, keep your wallet in your pocket. As a result, we do dinner on board as any dinner will be $200 plus...per person that is! We never caught up with Cutter Loose, but had a great cocktail hour sunset.
