Derecktors-Mamaroneck

We will skip by Glen Cove. My only recommendation is to stay to the right, not middle of the entry into Glenn Cove, or do it on a rising tide. We had a slight delay but it's just sand and all worked out. That said, there is also not much to see in Glenn Cove. Mamaroneck, however is a keeper. I could only find dock-age at an industrial shipbuilder, Derektors. But, it was a short cab to the train and a short rail trip to New York City. We saw the sights. Walked to Times Square from Grand Central, Subway to the 9?11 Memorial (heartbreaking), and then back for dinner in the theater district (think New York Deli) and on to a play recommended by my friend Jerry Pyle. First, don't miss Once. Second, get there early and go on stage to have a drink and hang out with the performing entertainers.
