Cruising with the Tripps

Our greatest highlights from our winter sails are when we are with friends. We are delighted that the Tripps have cut a few weeks out of their very busy work and bringing up Harry lives to join us for five days. Getting out of work was probably their great joy. How soon we retirees forget!
It is always fun to have your own chef and bartender. Steve, a "nearly licensed" (long story) bartender was introduced to Metusula, a Cuban rum. Steve them imbibed us with various new ways to enjoy it. Steve also manned the grill (boat warming gift from them), for three great meals. We enjoyed great restaurants, walks on the beach and on Great Guana, body surfed. Steve's leadership once again showing the way. Toby reports that it's been a long time between body surfing moments. However the sand in every orifice brought back memories.
Joanne and Denise shopped lightly but fervently. And the pushed into too many rounds of Dominoes. I will report. Steve, for the second year in a row, to his own surprise, took home the trophy. Guess what it was?
Right, his own empty bottle of Rum (not just any rum).
