so, we knew it was going to be rough. Joanne and Norm pictured at the wheel inside Block Island New Harbor. 3-5 waves and twenty of wind on the nose out of the west. This is a shake down cruise for going south, so we test the boat. Five hours with tide against waves, and the engine starts to die. Obvious fuel issue. We change to second secondary Rachor filter. Better but intermittent slowing. Joanne says lets go for closest harbor. Call Montauck. We have a slip, mechanics and can get you going. We sail to preserve engine. Toby changes filters. No luck. He changes to auxiliary feed tube. No luck. We get in safe, and under power. Glob of stuff in line. Comocean now has a secondary line with switch to transfer to secondary. And, brand new line where we had the fouling. Dinner at Sammys. Got off the next day by eleven after repairs for Shelter Harbor.
