There are new learnings every year. We leave Block Island for a thirty nautical mile trip to Mystic. The approasch is interesting. Lots of rocks, more markers then there should be channels and Fishers Island on our port. Next time, take a higher level look at the chart. A lot of water needs to get out of Long Island Sound as the tides are 3-8 feet. Think about it!. It can't all flow out the East River. Three knots in the nose!

But the slow travel pays with the great Mystic Seaport Museum and good food at Daniel Parkers basement to reward us for our effort. Oh, and we walk the streets but can't find Julia Roberts..star of Mystic Pizza.
