Getting there!

So, we continue our March...no make that slog, thru to the Bahamas. We have had a fairly peaceful night. Winds have been on our rear quarter as have the seas. Seas have been building, however, are fairly comfortable. We know we need to hold a minimum of 6.4 knots to make the Bahamas before sunset. Important because you like good visibility entering harbors and Cuts into the Sea Of Abaco. We expect a lose of wind during the day, so just started the engines to pick up some time to make daylight arrival.
We have had nighttime visuals of some of the vessels around us. Probably two cat boats 24 miles west. Also, we think we saw a J120, Euro Trash Girl (beats me why that would be a name), off our rear beam. This morning we see a larger vessels lights off our beam.
Everyone except Cheryl is in shorts. Still comfortable down below for sleeping once you get used to holding on to the sides of the bed in your sleep. Hampton Yacht Club Lasagna was a winner! No new Whale sitings, nor Dolphin. Perhaps Norm should take another shower so we can spot one! Also, really poor fishermen aboard.
But, there are things to do. Dempsey and Mark out occasionally, in daylight, on the foredeck moving a line or two. Visuals on the rig. Computer downloads of weather. Some one always on the helm with a backup trying to relax and keep a watch. Tedious...but safe. Hopefully Land Ho by Friday.
