Seth's advice...

Hi dad.
I updated the wind and now thins look a little lighter by 5 knots on Thursday. So currently you will see 20 knots from the NW. This worries me less and think westerly progress by the shore is a good plan so you and reach to the East to ease your ride when the strongest NW winds hit. And go NE when it lightens - eventually going due north into the light 5 knot winds that come Friday.
I'm not as worried about squalls. It's actually a high that parks over your position an stays all week. Once though the Gulf Stream it should be less rainy and squally, which you will nearly be through tonight.
In summary, I concur on staying out there and just making your course easy when the wind hits.
Let's chat.
