Winds 11 k from NE
All well aboard Complexity. After very light winds and annoying flogging and banging of gear for several days we finally got good winds about 4 am. For the last few hours of my watch the winds were 15-20 K from the NE with about a knot of current going our way. Sweet! Winds have dropped back to 10 k now. We just shared breakfast. I am going down for a nap having been on watch since midnight. Yup! Still hot and humid in our part of the world. We are grateful for fans. A melon head whale frolicked near the boat off and on yesterday for several hours. The moon has been glorious at night.

We took the summer of 2005 off from work and sailed to Glacier Bay, Alaska and back to Seattle. Jim and I made the whole trip. Meps and Barry cruised with us from Seattle to Juneau. Carol, Alex and Abby joined us for a week in Glacier Bay. Abby sailed the rest of the trip with us from Glacier Bay back to Seattle.
