Left Fuengirola at 09:30 and had a seven and a half hour motor-sail across, past Malaga to Marina Del Este. Arrived around 17:00 and booked in for two nights. The water in the marina is crystal clear and the setting is amazing, although it isn't cheap. The marina fees seem to be rising as we head further North and East along the Costa del Plenty. Weather getting warmer although it's quite cool out on the water. Life's tough.
Estepona to Fuengirola

I don't know but maybe sometime in the past, the marina was so busy that this guy decided to berth on the roundabout. He must have left his propeller. We came back to Estepona after a fortnight at home to find lots of sand on the boat. Apparently it had been very windy while we were away. Decided to stay for another couple of days, the marina is quite nice. Left Estepona on Friday morning bound for Fuengirola, about a four hour run.

We are currently berthed at the marina in Estepona. How did we get here?
Bob and I left Kinsale early on the morning 09 May. It was a beautiful calm morning as we left and headed for Kinsale Lighthouse. As we got out to around 16 miles offshore, the weather changed and we encountered heavy rolling black seas. We altered course and headed for Baltimore where we arrived late in the afternoon. We stayed in Baltimore until 14th May and arranged for Vincent and Joe to take Cristal from Baltimore to Vilamoura. Vincent and Joe left Baltimore 16May heading south.
Vilamoura 24 May, Cristal arrived at 13.00. Joe left next morning and Vincent, Carol and I set off at 12.00 heading for Gibraltar on an overnight passage. We crossed the Gulf of Cadiz in a beautiful moonlit night with very little traffic around us. As dawn broke, we could see the lights of Morroco off the starboard side. The Isle of Tarifa slipped past and we arrived in Gibtaltar at 11.00.
