Yesterday we arrived in Gloucester. It's a cool old fishing and boating town. Home of Gorton Seafood. Lobster traps everywhere so not easy to navigate in. We anchored in the town mooring area and took the dinghy over to the town dock for supper. We walked around a little and settled on a nice waterfront restaurant. They brought an enormous amount of food! Fried shrimp and scallops. Delicious! We got up this morning and went into town. They have a beautiful main st with a bunch of little shops and retaurants. We walked down to the local microbrewery for lunch and to sample the local ales. Delicious lobster rolls! We will leave here tomorrow morning about 7 am on the slack tide to be able to make it through the small bascule bridge here. Then on to Kittery Maine tomorrow afternoon. The weather is lovely here and we are really enjoying it!
