After we left St. Augustine we went to Kissimee and stayed at their town marina for a few days. We rented a car to take the Kennedy Space Center tour and see some sights. The Space Center was awesome! We stayed in Titusville a little longer than planned because of bad weather but no worries. We anchored a little south of Melbourne one night and then arrived here last night. We've made it to the Saint Lucie River and getting ready to head across the waterway through the Okeechobee and out at Ft Myers, Cape Coral, Sanibel Island area. Should be nice. It's an absolute ditch most of the trip and several locks to go through but it is supposed to have lots of wildlife. And the weather is supposed to be fabulous! Mid to high 70's. We didn't know anyhting about Stuart when we got here but it seems to be a pretty awesome little area. We are on a mooring here and took the dinghy in this morning for a shower and saw a poster for a seafood festival today. The marina was actually furnishing bus service there and back so we went. We now plan to stay here until Monday and then head west.
