Being located on the Port Police dock was a good place to be to see all the nautical comings and goings. We woke one morning to see the dock area full of expensive looking fast cars, vans and minivans. Something important was happening. A little while later an enormous Super Yacht, the size of a cruise ship, arrived called Katara. It turned out to be the Emir of Qatar, who was whisked away in one of the fast cars shortly after arriving. There cannot be many places in the Ionian for a yacht this size to dock. We think the local agent who was taking care of the whole thing was a bit miffed that we were on the dock too but the Coast Guard didn't ask us to move, so we didn't. It goes to show that the sea is for everyone.
