Lynn
Bottom edge of the high with a nice little cold front passing us by this morning. 15 to 20 knots out of the east southeast, seas 6'close reach with cloudy skies. And it's cold! Damn! We areall hoping for some sun once we pop out of this slop and warmer temps. Turns out there is more crap out here, especially fine mesh green nets, floating along just below the surface with 4 to 7 feet of line attached. Saw a few drifting by yesterday and a little after sundown, another one got wrapped in the prop! Too dark and too rolly for anyone to jump in, so we hove to(parked) for the night to see what morning would bring. Hopefully sun and calmer waters. Nope higher winds and sloppy seas so we are a sailboat again. We'll clear it once we get out of this stuff, don't need anyone experiencing 44 tons slamming them. It's been an hour since I started this and up ahead sure is looking better. Trances of blue, whit puffy clouds and the promise of smoother seas. Till tomorrow Lynn
