Hi all! We are now into our second 24 hour period since leaving Coffs - checked out Sunday by a courteous local Customs officer. We left knowing that to get a following breeze we would be putting up with strong winds and rough seas - we were correct! We had 25 - 30 knots last night and big swells - 4 metres or so. But conditions were uncomfortable rather than worrisome - and we have had up the mainsail with two reefs and only about 50% of the genoa unfurled. Nonetheless, tis pretty bumpy, definitely not weather for relaxing on the foredeck. Our first 24 hour run was 150NM so that's a consolation. We'll do another report in a couple of days. Bye for now!
