The Skipper
Todays special bonus blog is to let the outside world know that the Skipper is dealing with two crew that have gone batty. At dawn, 6:22am, Nellda had just joined Al in the cocpit to take the next watch. Suddenly the Skipper is awakened by giggles and squeals coming from the cockpit. Words like "kill it, kill it" and "use the pole, hit it with the pole" were heard. Next Nelda is running for the cabin and Al has the moorring pole in hand looking alot like Dan Ackroid in the Great Out Doors. He is swinging wildly and yells, "I got one." Nelda fires right back with "Kill the other one before it comes down stairs!" Now the facts are Diamond Girl is 150 miles off shore from the closest land and Nelda and Al, and me for that mater, haven't had much sleep. Could we have actually been invaded by some rare form of aquatic flying mamal? Unfortunately the one body that they claim fell in the cockpit was dispatched overboard before and photos or examination could take place. Humm, what d o you think? As the Skipper should I be worried? Oh, by the way they were both three pounders. Worried
