Greetings from Chacala It is about 10 pm and it has been quite a day. After surviving the pounding we took yesterday we had a relaxeing day today. That is until we tried to land our dingy on the beach. For those of you that don't know about dingy landings they are tricky. You have to time the wave sets just right or you are thrown into the water as you approach the beach. We we almost biffed it as we came in but made it mostly dry. We ate a great diner at one of the beach side resturants and had a few drinks. Make that a few too many drinks. All in all it has been a great day. My cold is much better and we are much more rested. The bigest disapointment of the day was discovering that instead of Ray Ban sun glasses, I had actually purchased three pair of Ray Bummer sun glasses. It was very hard to tell as the logo on on the lenz is very small. Todays pic is of Diamond Girl from the place we ate.. Chacala is a magical place that is impossible to discribe. Tomorrow we move on to La Cruze. It is about 50 miles down the coast and is a cuisers meca.
