Today we took our friend Bonnie to the bus stop so she could head to the airport in Key West and return home after a week-long of kayaking, visiting Key West and the Butterfly Conservatory, Sloppy Joe‘s, and Mel Fisher‘s Treasures, going to Happy Hour on Blue Angel, enjoying the local cuisine at several great seafood restaurants, walking around town and the Seafood Festival, and having Happy Hour aboard Blue Bay. It was great getting caught up on all the news from home and to have a good friend to enjoy our time here where it is warm and sunny (most days)! Back home we hear it is 73 degrees today. So much for warm and sunny here in Florida.
We are planning to leave Marathon and head south to the Dry Tortugas for a visit before we head north to Ft. Pierce to store Blue Bay for the summer, and then head for home. This winter has sure gone fast!
