Back in the USA!

We left Bullocks Harbor in The Berrys on Sunday, April 7 and arrived in Lake Worth, FL on Monday, April 8 around 10:30 AM. We left two hours before Windrush (Val and Bruce from Nova Scotia) a catamaran that can go faster than we can. We sailed for 8 hours and then when the wind died, motor-sailed for 20 hours or so. It made for a nice crossing. Windrush caught up to us long before we were half-way. We encountered some swells in the Gulf Stream but they were doable. Along the way we caught a Skipjack Tuna (sometimes called a Striped Tuna). Almost as round as he is long, 26" long by 18". He made for a very meaty fish. And he was lots of fun and good eating!
We met up with Sea Camp and had great fun with Eileen and Bud at Stuart. We have started our decommissioning list and plan to be hauled out at Riverside Marina on April 25 and return to Minnesota on May 4.
