Puerto Eden or is it??

Apparently in 2004 it was said that the population of Puerto Eden was 260 and falling. (In 2008 at 160?) We don't know if this is true, but considering that the village is very isolated with only the Navimag ferry coming twice a week to unload supplies for a short stay and only a few stores with the bare necessities were to be found, this place could use a boost. We had to stop here to obtain another zarpe from the Capitania de Puerto and the guys were happy to accommodate our request.
At 7 a.m. the next morning we witnessed dozens of eager tourists coming off the ferry for an hour or so stretching their legs, taking pictures and trying the locked doors of the two small grocery stores. But the village was still asleep and an opportunity was lost.
