Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Of necessity we had a trip back to Sydney to attend to pressing business and family issues. With this little trip coming to an end, we have done a bit of carbon-positive stuff. Over the last 48 hours, culminating in our current position on the hard stand at Ashby's boat yard in Opua, we have travelled on the following vehicles:
By our car to my parent's house, by Country Link train from Bundanoon to Central, then by Cityrail train to Wynyard, then by Taronga Zoo ferry to the zoo, then the bus up to Mosman junction, then by foot to our flat, and again by foot to Mosman ferry wharf, by ferry to Circular Quay, then by taxi back to our apartment, then by taxi to the airport, then by plane to Auckland, then by hire car to Opua, then by dinghy to our boat, then in Diomedea to the yard, then by Travel-Lift out of the water! Does that sound like a lot in two days?
