the prettier side of Santa Ponsa

Some serious cruisers may have hoisted their sails and tacked along the coast to Santa Ponsa approximately 7 miles away but we were content to motor the short distance instead. Even though it was overcast, it didn't detract from us enjoying the beautiful views of the rugged coast and the many properties that are built into the mountain sides that lead down to the shore.



There must be room for at least 100 yachts in the bay at Santa Ponsa, so plenty of room for all. We found a nice sandy patch on the prettier side of the bay (well away from the high-rise tourist hotels and complexes) to drop our anchor in 8 meters of water.
