We telephoned the Marina to see if our berth was available given that we're a week earlier than planned to be told that it was currently occupied with an additional jetty but we could take a visitor berth until they move it (by the end of the week). So we are now back in Kingswear, Darthaven Marina but not quite on our berth.

We've been away for approximately 5 weeks and despite the weather we've had a wonderful time and we're not put off by any means so will most definitely be heading South during the first/second quarter of next year 2012. In the meantime, we've got a list of outstanding jobs and improvements to crack on with along with planning our trip for next year and visiting family and friends.

Our blog will continue throughout the winter months - we will update you with our thoughts; along with the list of winter jobs; whether or not we managed to keep within budget; a video tour of drummer's interior; and of course what our plans are for next year.
