Having spent two nights in front of the chateau enjoying the surroundings we felt it was time to move on.

We therefore left the mooring buoy and headed back to Benodet where we briefly took another buoy as close to the Marina as possible to pick up a WIFI signal in order to receive the latest forecast. We received our Navtex forecast but wanted a second forecast to compare predictions.

Weather forecast received and we were off. We left Benodet behind in cloud which then turned to drizzle and the visibility dropped down to a couple of miles before it started to clear again. The only consolation was that we actually sailed the whole distance without having to motor (apart from the beginning and end of the journey) - miracles happen, although we didn't break any speed records!

Cruising under genoa only we arrived at Concarneau Marina approximately 5 hours later.
