Hurray, humidity has been reduced slightly following a few thundery/wet nights and we now feel that we want to go out sailing again.

There wasn't much wind, just enough for us to sail for a few hours until we reached Ile d'Aix where the wind dropped totally resulting in us having to put the engine on and motor back to the marina. Still it was lovely to be out pottering around on sparkling sea on such a hot and windless day.

The lubricating of some of the fittings has made a significant difference and it's now much easier to roll out/in the mainsail but I did get told off by Bruce when he caught me trying to physically pull in one of the sails without the use of the winch. Note to self: bigger boat = larger sail area = use winches!
