Following a brief row ashore to walk along the cliff edge above us we returned back to Flirtie and decided to hop around the corner to Cala Yondal, a wide but relatively sheltered bay, open to the south and southwest and only 2 miles away.

There was little wind predicted so we motored, dropping our anchor in sand just 100m or so from the buoyed area that lined the shore where we noticed a couple of lovely looking beach bars.

We'd barely raised the anchor ball (a black ball, used in daylight hours to denote to others that we are at anchor) when a RIB arrived and passed over a business card offering a transfer service over to the 'Tropicana Beach Club' bar where we could reserve beach beds and be served fine wines - all we had to do was call him on VHF channel 88.
