Sailboat is now gone - PDQ is almost ready
10 March 2015
Diva Di, the sailboat, has now left our life as of today. I had her at our neighbor's dock to perform the post-sale repairs that we agreed upon, and those are done. The new owner had his third orientation on the boat and systems, and then took her to her new home. Diane is actually quite emotional about it all.
I will need to await my friend, Dennis, to assist with rebuilding the generator water pump as I do not have the extensive tool shop that he does. Other than that, the only things still of concern is a slow-cranking of the port engine due (almost certainly) to a poor connection on the cabling to the starter.
Oh, yes, then there is the dinghy outboard engine with the fouled carburetor that I could not get clean myself. I took it to the shop 8 days ago and they await some parts, as well.
