Overall, things are under control and we are very eagerly looking forward to our departure and getting underway again.

We expect to leave our home by rental car on 19 May, drive north while visiting a few friends and family along the way, and then rendezvous with our boat in MA. Once we shove off, hopefully by 30 May, we will head south through New England and back up to the Erie Canal and Lake Ontario, but this time heading to the northwest through the famous Trent-Severn Waterway into Georgian Bay and the North Channel of Lake Huron. Next is Lake Michigan all the way to Chicago and then down through many rivers to Mobile, AL. From there, we'll enjoy the Gulf States as we make our way home sometime in Dec.

BTW, rental car companies don't need their fleet full in FL in May and want cars back up in New England for the summer tourist season. So, we got a full-size car one-way rental for less than $8 per day. That is surely a sweet deal!
