We went to the botanical gardens that are Southwesterly out of Puerto Vallarta. It's about an 45 minutes out of the main part of town. It's up into the mountains and along a very curved road. I was marveling at the way it had been constructed. The road is through some very hard rock (look that way) and had pretty steep "cuts" along it. The ride itself was kind of wild also, as the driver's know the road very well and go "balls out" when they can.
The Gardens were very beautiful with lots of variety of plants. They also had a restaurant there. We went back with Tom & Penny later and had a nice little lunch.
