Life isn't all fun and games for us. Today was laundry day and it took most of the day to wash it and wait for it to dry. Dave is very particular where and when we do our laundry. There can't be many boats or nice houses around when we litter out boat with all kinds of clothing from every available surface. I could care less when or where I do mine. I was desensitized after the coast guard incident. (refer back to August 1st).
We received great news today. We are expecting company. John and Gloria are coming for a visit this weekend along with Donna and Dave. It will be so nice to have the company. Unfortunately, New England boaters aren't very social and I really miss that. We did check into the local yacht club and we are now registered guests. Hyannis Yacht Club. It is VERY nice and the first thing DJ said
was " WOW, this is much bigger than our yacht club at home". But I reminded him that even though our club is small, it is very friendly. I hope that we meet up with some other cruisers soon. It would be nice to have travel companions.
