The m/v Zafiro (sapphire in Spanish) was just beautiful! This is the lounge area which has two big screen TV’s, a bar and 24 hour coffee/tea service at one end and also opens up to the observation deck which has another bar, hot tub and deck chairs (including round/canopied double wicker chairs). Such luxury! One of the many fun things we did was visit small villages that line the river shores – we had a typical lunch in a woman’s house and watched a demonstration of how they dye straw (all natural) and make handicrafts to sell to visitors.
