Today we took the metro train and cable car to Santo Domingo (an area previously controlled by Pablo Escobar), then a second cable car to the Eco Tourism Park ARVI. At the top there were local artisans and we had our first Bunuelo (Colombia's version is a small white curd cheese rolled into a ball and fried- YUM!). Today we realized that we had forgot to include Cali on our itinerary – so we will visit the Avianca desk tomorrow and see about adding it to our flights – thank you Lord for flexibility!! We love Medellin – easy to get around, beautiful weather, wonderful restaurants and people!
