Going With the current, on the river

Rainy
Last week, while cruising against the 3 mph current, I kept thinking of the return trip. Now we are scooting along at 10 mph, while the engines are reved up to 7. Pay back time!
It rained lightly for 1/2 the day. After 3 weeks of nice weather, we were spoiled, and grumbled today. It is October, and fall is definitely in the air. The trees are turning yellow and red, and the mornings get down to 60 degrees. Another two days, and we turn south again, into warmer weather and hopefully no more hurricanes.
We are anchored out tonight with the crickets and frogs serenading us as the sun goes down.
I had to put this picture of Susan in the blog. This is her outfit going to the western dinner two nights ago in Chattanooga
