Dining out
23 October 2017 | Cotton Bayou, Ingram Bayou
Sunny, 75
Today we moved the boat to Cotton Bayou, which is next to Orange Beach. It is lovely here, palm trees, friendly people, and apparently the fishing is great! We may stay here a while when we return.
Signed up for Lyft because no Uber here. The driver that took us to Walmart talked the whole time about great restaurants in the area. On the way back the driver did the same. We are getting the idea that no one cooks here! We told the driver of a special diner called the Eagle Heart. One can get steak, asparagus, mushroom and bicuits with award winning red wine for 8.00 a plate! On top of that we are eating dinner in Ingram Bayou with dolphins swimming around the boat, fish jumping, and owls hooting in the trees!
Picture tonight is of dinner a la Eagle Heart.
If you go to the gallery you will see how they store their boats here. Not sure how they survived the hurricane, as many of the docks are smashed!
