Well we successful complete all our projects in Deltaville. Some the projects included:
- New bimini, dodger and covers - very nice looking
- New shelf in aft berth to hold all the new covers
- Two 85 Watt solar panels added above the bimini - They work great
- Added a chart plotter in the cockpit
- Patched the holes and gel coat from previous bimini and stereo speakers
- Modified anchor locker to facilitate the chain pile when taking in the anchor
- Added starboard to bow pulpit to reduce wear from chain on second anchor
- Rebedded a leaky chain plate
- Replace the main halyard with a less stretchy line, Stayset-X
- Replumbed the watermaker for ease of access and remove some persistent leaks
- Put in starboard piece in shower to keep water on shower side of head
- And my favorite, rebuilding both heads as well as new hoses in the forward head
Is was a very productive trip to Deltaville and we feel the boat is ready for a winter of adventure.
Our friends Jan and Rich on Slip Away are nearby at Old Point Comfort waiting out high winds and we hope to hook up with them at Hospital Point and head down the ICW with them to New Bern. Should be a very fun trip.
