Huahine

17 July 2008 | Huahine

7/18/2008 Huahine (French Polynesia)

The night crossing between Moorea and Huahine has been a little hectic and the pills did not work at first for our guests .Once in bed everything got better. Our arrival in Fare, the main small town of the island Huahine allowed us to get more veggies and bread (in a very well stocked magasin). The kids spent their entire day in the water diving and putting together a synchronized exercise. We are now in a small bay in the south of the island behind the reef that keeps us in calm water although the wind is blowing at 25 knots. The landscaping is always as beautiful, green steep mountains bordered by a strip of white sandy beaches and coconut trees. A nice walk along the coast made us discover a small village where papaya, banana, noni grow everywhere .We hope to rent some bicycles tomorrow, for the kids, same favorite program, jumping in the water all day long!
