Leaving for Africa

"Ready or not here I come":
Refrain to childhood game of hide and seek
The dogs are visiting my sister Leann and her husband Joe along with our niece Sarah in Connecticut. I already miss them: last night I had to lick my own ice cream bowl.
We have four duffel bags and one computer bag packed and ready to go. The plants will be watered by Ray (who works with Donna), while he checks frequently on the house.
Our income taxes are complete (pay again) and our bills are on auto-pay. It now seems somewhat like overkill as Donna may only be gone two months instead of the four we originally planned and packed for. However, it gives us good preparation for that time when longer absences take place.
We will be leaving Saturday 3/22 from Boston to Washington D.C. to Johannesburg (the longest scheduled non-stop flight in the world). From Jo-burg to Cape Town is only two hours.
We are both looking forward to the trip and are interested to see if we get along as well as usual when we are together for long periods of time.
Most everybody wants pictures of the boat, and we will get those as soon as we can along with any other pertinent information for hull numbers above #4.
We will try to update as soon and as often as we can.
Look out Africa, ready or not here we come.
