Georgetown

As Daniel wrote in his journal this morning,"Georgetown is the best!" He and John have had a super time here playing with all of their friends. As soon as school is over the VHF is busy with kids checking in with kids to find out what beach and where to meet up etc. The boys had a sleep over on Contented Turtle a few nights ago and I was invited over to Manx Cat for dinner along with Amanzi and Savy. Menno is keeping very busy in the states visiting with friends and marking things off of the wish list! He said it was 16 degrees F. the other morning... brrr. The boys and I were invited over to Dreamweaver for a pizza party on Friday night, we made our own pizzas and they were delicious! I brought all of the fixings for banana splits after dinner, yum! Coconut ice cream was my favorite. Saturday we planned a potluck and bon fire on Sand dollar beach and invited everyone we like, had about 14 boats there! Paul was recruited by the kids to pull them in an inner tube behind his dinghy. They had a blast! As usual the potlcuk was deliciious. It was Jill's birthday and Denise (Quixotic) baked a chocolate/banana cake for her.Earlier in the day the boys had dug a fire pit and collected wood for a bon fire. It was a great bon fire, I was actually able to buy masrhmellows here in Georgetown at the market for the kids to roast. It was a fun evening. The kids were exhausted but happy, it has been a busy week. Menno gets home tomorrow evening, Paul is going to pick him up at Exuma Market in the "limo." Paul's dinghy has a 50 HP engine and has seats and you don't always get wet!
Picture is taken on Volleyball Beach, there is a tree swing and great climbing tree to keep the kids busy. Daniel, John, David and Kelby in the tree!
