We left Ponce a week ago and motor sailed along the south coast of Puerto Rico all the way to Palma del Mar on the Eastern shore of PR. We spent the night then continued onto the Spanish Virign Isles to the wonderful island of Culebra. Our fishing luck finally changed and we got a couple of Zings!! Daniel pulled in one full size Mackerel and a 1/2 of another Mackerel! The poor fish got eaten by a shark or barracuda when Daniel was reeling it in and only half of the fish made it! We stayed in Culebra for 3 nights and enjoyed the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere on this vacation isle. We met up with some other boats with kids; Aldora (David, Sam and Sally) and Perfection (Tori and Allie). One day a group of 17 headed over to Flaminco Beach on the north shore and we had a glorious day of body surfing on a beautiful white sandy beach!
Culebra is a wonderful little island.

It was only a 20 mile sail east to St Thomas. John pulled in a nice fat Tuna, our first Tuna to date! We are back in business again and my freezer is looking better and better!

We are anchored in Charlotte Amalie and right next to three gigantic cruise ships!! When we were in the dinghy heading over to Customs a sea plane waved us out of its way so it could land on the water RIGHT next to us! wow! All very exciting! All very busy!
