Moving up the Exuma Chain

We are on the move! Left Georgetown after school on Tuesday and sailed north to Rat Cay. We had the anchorage to ourselves, off a white sandy beach and anchored in 10 feet of water. Menno and Daniel spent the afternoon hunting and came home with a nice fat lobster! The solitude is lovely, showers off the "back porch" and no one around to watch us. The second day our peaceful anchorage welcomed 4 new sailboats, that's ok. We weighed anchor the following day and sailed onto Cave Cay going in through Galliot Cut to the sound side. Once again we had a private anchorage off yet another beautiful beach. John, Daisy and I played on the beach and practiced writing our times tables in the sand while Menno and Daniel went in search of food. Eureka! Daniel speared a nice big Nassau Grouper! It was delish! It doesn't get any better than this.
