Cyclones and hurricanes are really common below 20deg N this time of the season, apparently. This is just the start of hurricane season, and the 3rd hurricane, named Celia, is getting pretty big. Thankfully it will be long-gone by the time we get to HI. Just hope there's not another one behind it...
