Yesterday we were sailing on the ocean side of Grand Exuma when the engine started coughing. The problem is we had to sail through a narrow cut with light wind and the current against us. Drifting to either side and there were rocks. Larry carefully and slowly manuvered us through the cut into the safety of the bank side. One star for Larry. Then Larry changed two of the fuel filers (not easy and precient to have extras on board) and it turned out to be a dirty fuel filer problem. Larry gets his second star. After a quiet but somewhat tense day, we had a wonderful dinner on board and drinks and cigars. A great way to end the day.Today, with the engine purring, we had a leisurely sail today to Blackpoint a beautiful harbor on a perfect day. We are eating dinner in a lovely little Bermudian town with friendly laid back locals and other cruisers.
