We are in the last part of this adventure, and Adam has now joined us for about 10 days. After almost 2 weeks at Compass Cay, which has become one of our favorite places, we motor-sailed the short distance to Big Major's Spot to be positioned to pick Adam up at the Staniel Cay airport (term used loosely!) if he should arrive as planned. He did, and we spent 2 nights on the hook right there as yet another front came through. In the morning today, he went snorkeling and brought up (for photos only) this beautiful starfish. Then we sailed (yes, really sailed!!) to Black Point Settlement. After making reservations for dinner at Lorraine's Cafe, we and the dogs went walk-about and then Adam went swimming/snorkeling again. Tonight it's real (and very good) Bahamian meal at Lorraine's, and then we'll go back to Compass Cay for a night. Hard to believe we've been in the Bahamas almost 5 months since we crossed the Gulf Stream before Thanksgiving---and hard to believe in less than another month we hope to be back in Florida. Tempus fugit.
