We left San Sebatian heading for a marina along the coast, stopping on the way for a swim and lunch in a small town. This was without incident until Maurice was adding to the holding tank in the toilet was showered from above through the open hatch by George with copious amounts of sea water. All I heard was screaming and cursing I am sure over the next few days revenge will be had !
All was fine until we reached our destination. The book we are using said '03/04 new marina under development' so we thought good it should be finished by now. We were wrong we arrived to an old fashioned stone wall Harbour we no facilities roped up against the Harbour wall. In tying up we had to upset a lot of local fishermen who were fishing from the wall. Tonight we are no worried about the depth of the water but the length of put ropes as we drop down 4m with the tide under the evil glaze of the angry fishermen.
We have been here 3 hours and haven't seen them catch anything yet. Maurice is threatening to put his rod in and out fish them
The bad news is that I have just been through our book and there are limited marinas for the next 250+miles so we need to be careful on our water use and to a limited extent electric. The weather forecast also looks worrying for tomorrow so we may have to spend longer tied to a wall !
The good news is the night in the harbour was free
