Slowly but surely!

We started bottom paint on Saturday and finished slightly more than half and recognized we would need more paint, much to our chagrin. We painted again on Sunday, finishing the gallon with about 30 sq. feet to go. UGH!!!! Paint was ordered today and will be in tomorrow at Hurd's. We also bought a Shark hand vacuum as the battery pack on ours was gone! Jack stands were moved today so we will be able to paint those spots before launching. Launching and more painting - now that could be a problem - as they are predicting rain for the next 4 days. We are scheduled for the sling on Thursday so we can paint the bottom of the keel and then be launched first thing Friday a.m. but we shall see. In the meantime, all diesel is full, non-ethanol gas cans filled, and water full. Wednesday we will raise the dinghy to its proper place on the dinghy davits below the solar panels in hopes of a launch. Very pleasant days and much cooler evenings for sleeping. All attention is being paid to tropical depression Invest97 with hopes the northern route is spared and this potential brute stays South!
